DomainSearch.com was one of the first bulk domain availability research tools, launched in 1996 and re-launched under the now current domain name in 1997.

A very handy and quick domain search tool, DomainSearch.com enables you to automatically check availability on any given domain name across 50 of the most popular top-level and country-level domain extensions in a single operation.

One of the major advantages of DomainSearch over other similar whois type search interfaces is that they check the registry databases in real time rather than checking (outdated) stored records. TLDs can be selected one by one, or by using the pre-defined groupings of popular domain extensions.

Search results are displayed on a separate page and domains are listed as either available or registered. Registered names provide a link to Whois information. Available domains on the other hand can be registered through DomainSearchs partner, DomainIt.
