Connect – Ireland, one of only two web hosting providers in Ireland, was recently hacked and finally had to ‘throw the switch’ causing their 3,000 customers to lose services. The attack is suspected to come from supporters of the Indonesia’s occupation of East Timor, and meant to disrupt the flow of traffic through the East Timorese top-level domain, .tp.
