Microsoft’s new tool, Strider URL Tracer with Typo-Patrol, seeks out typo-squatted url’s and blocks them (www.frod.com versus www.ford.com). The new tool alerts users when they land on a typo page and are redirected to third party advertising pages. The software is free to download.
