Network Solutions announced that it would be offering several ‘portal’ services in the next 3 to 6 months. Such services will include email, search engines, and directory services, along with their traditional domain name registration service. Network Solution’s hold on the monopoly of domain name registration is expected to end sometime in the next 6 to 12 months.
