Despite the fact that the Internet Council of Registrars (CORE) announced its plans to test its Internet domain name system (promising to have their new set of TLDs ready to register by March), the authority of the council is still in question. Their policy is still unclear on who will get final say so over domain naming and how the new system will be implemented.
