The top-level domain .tm launched last February, but came to a halt in April when the Turkmenistan government noticed questionable (in their language) domain names being registered. Names like pizza.tm is, apparently, a curse word in Turkmenistan. Because of this, the registration process for that ccTLD is on hold. Other ccTLDs have similarly obscure rules, even for registrants in their own country.
