Recently released audits show that VeriSign, who was allowed to keep both their Registry and Registrar units after restructuring last year, is providing equal access to domain names, but is not maintaining daily records for these domains in the database. Federal officials have expressed their concerns over the record keeping and they plan to keep close tabs on the company.
