Last month a Kentucky judge gave the state the ability to seize 141 gambling related domain names, even though the domains were located out of the United States. The internet industry is fighting back at the ridiculous scenario, explaining “that following similar logic would allow any country to seize any domain name. For example, China could decide that the BBC website violates its laws and demand that the BBC domain name be turned over to the Chinese government.”
