A new domain name fee proposed by ICANN will require .net owners to pay an additional 75-cent annual fee next year. The fee is expected to go to projects that the organization deems to have merit. While no other fees have been announced, it’s expected that other TLDs will soon have ICANN annual fees attached as well.
