MarkMonitor reports .brands account for over 30% of all new top-level domains

MarkMonitor.com has analyzed all 1,930 new gTLD applications that were successfully processed with ICANN. The applications came in from 60 countries for 1,408 unique strings. Of the 1,930 applications received, dotBrands accounted for 664 of them according to MarkMonitor, which makes for about 1/3rd total.
