After receiving approval in January, .Tel’s Internationalized Domain Name (IDN) registration goes live. The request to offer the IDN registrations was approved by ICANN in January. The Registry began accepting registrations for these domain names in the following languages:
As we mentioned in January, Telnic’s plan to offer internationalized .tel domain names was approved by ICANN. The Registry has now announced that they will launch their IDN registration in 16 languages on June 15th.
