The ISOC fired back over charges that the company is not qualified to take over the .org Registry. ICANN put the Registry at the top of their list for a .org takeover after receiving a perfect score. The criticisms come due to the fact that the ISOC has not yet established their subsidiary organization, Public Interest Registry (PIR), which is to manage the .org extension, and migration of the .org domains is schedule to begin soon
