Kentucky state law enforcement officials are attempting to seize 141 domain names of Internet gambling websites. After a lawsuit forcing the gambling sites to block access to Kentucky users or relinquish control of their domains, a judge ruled on September 18th that the domain names be transferred to state officials. An upcoming hearing will give the gaming industry the opportunity to object to the transfers of the domain names.
