The original owner of the domain sex.com and VeriSign have reached a settlement. The lawsuit alleged that Network Solutions was liable for transferring the stolen domain without getting proper authorization. The landmark case essentially considered domain names actual property. Terms of the settlement were not disclosed, but source say it was close to $15 million.
