Tshirts.com and four other domains (tee-shirts.com, t-shirt.com, t-shirts.com, and tees.com) recently sold at a domain auction for $1.265 million. The buyer of the names is Costumes Galore, Inc. (Mankato, MN). The purchase will allow the company to move into the profitable t-shirt market, generating sales throughout the year to supplement seasonal costume sales around Halloween.
The sale was brokered by Moniker, an Oversee.net company headquartered in Los Angeles, CA.
