The US Government doubts that the DNS transition from Network Solutions to the public sector will happen due to lack of planning. Despite seeing evidence that the public sector is ready to take control of the domain name system, they have yet to be convinced that Network Solutions will be able to pull out of their control over the data system when their contract expires in March.
